About
About David Rowe:
I took up painting after retiring from a 44 year career as a layout and design engineer in the oil and gas industry in 2010. I have learnt the basics of painting from instructional videos and reference books. My chosen medium is acrylic. I paint a wide range of subjects including birds, animals, landscapes and seascapes. Most of my paintings are based on my own photographs of scenes and subjects that appeal to me.
About Diana Rowe:
I started painting upon retirement. I commenced using water colours after attending several classes at a local college, I now also enjoy "One Stroke" painting predominately using acrylic paint. My other interests are making greeting/Xmas cards where I often use the "One Stroke" technique, Decoupage and using Apoxy Resin to make displays and jewellery. I have had success in the USA at Florida State and District Women's Club competitions for my Decoupage and Water colour exhibits.
